Singer’s Toe…

7

10 Titans descended upon UR to experience a new route now hereby dubbed “Singer’s Toe”… affectionately named after Wedding Singer’s sore piggy:

All: Run to Robbins Parking Lot and spill out onto College

4’s: Take College up to Westham Parkway. Head south towards River Rd

5’s: Take Lakewood to Wood to Baldwin. Take left onto Westham Parkway from Baldwin…head South toward River Road

6’s: Take Lakewood to Wood to Waveny. Turn left onto Westham Parkway. Take to River Road. (Follow instructions below, then add an up-and-down on Panorama after climbing Highland)

All: Take Westham Parkway to River. Cross at River to Country Squire then left onto South Ridge. Take down to Westham Station. Take first left up Old Bridge then turn a quick right onto Highland and keep climbing. Turn around when you reach River Rd and head back down to Westham Station. Head toward shopping center and then take the bat cave home.

  1. Apologies…(I really just did it so I could generate a comment from someone other than myself…)

  2. I read that UR closed its campus to outsiders. We could meet at River Road Baptist and still have access to some of the hills that make Spider Run so fun. Rogue Runners run out of St. Bridget/St. Stephen at 5:30 and I find them a little annoying. Thoughts?

  3. Wedding Singer on

Wow, effective immediately Swiper? I did notice a number of people working out in the commercial space parking lot after the run. Thanks for the title Saab, I will Q a ‘Dog to the Knees’ run in the near future.

  4. Sure about that…where did you read that?

As a current “student” I’m on their daily covid blasts. Based on the last waiver I had to sign just a few days ago, only students and faculty are allowed in the buildings – no visitors. Externally, everyone is to mask up if you can’t social distance or if you are exercising

  5. I saw the announcement from UR, but am yet to see a definition of external visitors. I would take that to mean no one other that faculty, staff, and students in buildings, not being outdoors on campus at our early morning hour.
