Playing some catchup here – here’s how things went down at Batteau based On YHC’s old man memory.
It was a prompt 5:30 AM start time in Bleeder start us out with some quick stretches at the tennis courts, after that we probably headed down to the lake for some ice-skating lessons. The lake wasn’t frozen over yet so we decided to run around that stopping at every single light pole descending Merkins starting with 19 and subtracting one at every single light pole we got to.
next we had it up the hill and picked up some rocks from the lovely rock garden. Everyone partnered up and sorely let us in some partner rock exercises. I’m pretty sure Sippy’s rock weighed more than he did.
The next Hot potato recipient was Hardywood, we partnered up again and crawl bear-ed up the hill to the top towards the light post while your partner stayed back and completed three burpees. After the Burpee’s each partner ran up to their crawl bearing partner and switched out. Everyone made it to the top and we waited in the merkin position.
YHC got the hot potato next and was so creative he swapped out crawl bear and Burpee’s with lunges and 25 single count flutter kicks. Fun ensued to the end, then we fast moseyed back to the flag for numbers, names, and announcements.
It was great having you as a visitor Boberry on your winter tour. Friendly faces and new names are always welcome at Batteau!
Announcements: see Hardywood if you want to see a rock climbing movie with your kids and drink beer on a Friday – I think I got that correct…
