Always 70 and Sunny

No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service

Days are getting longer and the Pax is converging earlier, trying to get a glimpse of the gloom.

YHC called the route and off we went. A charming route up Boatwright, a stroll down Patterson, and the meandering curves of Westham Parkway. Each route distance had a different exit off of the Pwky with a return to the VSF.

Swirly took us out.

The Moleskin

It was great to see the Pax today. Despite Labrat sans shoes and TYA shirtless and soaking, Swirly did a great COT. Quote of the circle was “I hope those are love handles that I am pinching”. Remember, the shirt is not for you, but for us.

  • Memorial Day Convergence – Monday – Tredegar – Unless anyone has called otherwise, 6:00?
  • May Puppy Pile…..June 1. (Why not call it the June Puppy Pile? Whoever is Q needs a calendar.)

Too much time tapering. Time to run.

    Great run guys !
Glad you were able to drop your package off BT!
The power of this group is very real !
    See y’all in the gloom..

  2. That “charming” Boatwright is a grind, as is the loop through campus at the end for the 5s. Welcome to the headwear club BT and Swirly.

  3. Memorial day is at 7. Gates don’t open up for SOJ to cross River until after 6…

  4. Good to be back out today. Also nice to see Big Blue larked and ready when I rolled in.

Solid route, Lockjaw, and yes, when the route passes YHC’s house, it’s always good to start from the uphill side and glide down Westham.

  5. At that hour and with your fair skin, I suggest plenty of sunscreen and hydration. That’s like noontime weather.

  6. Lab Rat and Swirly wore a “courtesy shirt”…..that’s putting on a shirt after a shirtless run specifically for the circle. Take note, TYA.

I’ll assume great route, I have no idea what I did.
