Spring weather before a wintry mix. Yep, its Richmond. Twenty of RVA’s finest came out to cover miles in this fine city.

The Route

West on Grove and turn right on the access road in front of the churches. Take a right on St Christophers and a right on Patterson heading east. 4s turn on Westmoreland, 5s on Malvern, and 6s on Nansemond with all taking Grove back to the VSF.

Marv took us out.

The Moleskin

Despite the warm weather, you gotta keep those digits warm. Most of the pre-run chatter was TYA (of all people) commenting on Saab’s running attire. To each their own.

It was great running with Vinny and Upchuck today, though unusually quiet, as they pushed the miles.

Announcements:  Hardywood’s 2.0’s book event this evening. 5:30 @ Crossroads.

    Great route !
Enjoyed it Flatline we said about 2 words and kept a solid pace – 7:56 – average – well done buddy
    See y’all in the gloom..

  2. Great running with Upchuck and Lockjaw. I’m sad to report that Tommie the dog died this morning. I’m glad we thought of him and lifted him up during COT. What happened to him sickens me. He’s in a better place now.

  3. Swirly, we were on a mission to keep pace under 8 and yes, only a few words mentioned! But, thank you for the pace and solid work. Great route Lockjaw! Great way to lift up Tommie and truly horrific! Let the F3 light shine bright men!!
    Loud and Proud!

  4. That he is. Thanks for raising that up today Vinny. With horrific events like this we need to remember there is always much more good in the world.

  5. Glad to be out there today, fellas. The wheels are starting to feel better. Nice running with Vinny. Way to crush the full 5.

I didn’t hear any chatterboxes today. Vinny and I ran quietly, like usual. Just like it’s always sunny and 70.

  6. Good running with Bodos and LabRat as they were sharing clean jokes for a good portion of the run. I am not one to share jokes but telling folks I am a Jets fan makes a lot of people laugh. Hopefully justice will come for Tommie’s killer.
