VQing in the Gloom


The Thang – The first exercise after Warmarama calisthenics was the Black Snake Mile. After dodging, dipping, ducking, diving, and dodging random light poles, trash bins, each other, and other random obstacles we moved to Playground Circuits.

The second exercise was 2x rounds of Playground Circuits consisting of Burpee Box Jumps, Incline Merkins, Lunges, Dips, WWII Situps, Squats, Swing Crunches, Derkins, LBCs, Bear Crawl to Crawl Bear

The third exercise was Ring of Fire, dealers choice abs.

COT – Being a Steadfast and Resilient Man


Situations in life can be discouraging… weaker men may judge from the sidelines. God doesn’t call us to meek, He doesn’t call us to be comfortable. He calls us to be bold…. To be courageous… and builds us and crafts us during the most difficult of trials. God reminds us to be men who remain steadfast under trial.

James 1:2-4 Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you are involved in various trials, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance and steadfastness. But you must let endurance have its full effect, so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.

The Man in the Arena
