First F3 Shovel Flag Post

1

The F3 shovel flag was flying (first day in F3HR) as 4 PAX posted at duckduckgoose despite the first day of Stank Hill taking away a couple regulars.  This is a testament to how much F3HR is growing!

Warmarama – SSH x 30, Imperial Walkers x 20, Hillbillies x 20

The Thang – Burp lap around lake.  5 burpees each in 4 locations.

DORA – Partner up for 100 Merkins, 200 LBCs, and 300 squats.  Partner runs to certain spot and back while other does exercise then switch.

Bruce Lee – 20 reps each 3 sets.  American hammers, Leg raises, LBCs, Heel touches, Crunchy frog, 100s (on 6 in V position with arms at side palm down do quick 6 inch pulses with arms until 100).  We completed 2 sets, modified some reps to 10 or 15, and the 100s were really 50s.  Clearly we are not Bruce Lee.  We will reaccess our “Bruce Leeness” in a year.

COT – Summary of YHCs daily devotional last Wed.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.  Psalm 19:14

The word strength speaks of a rock, a boulder, a huge stone.  It is a picture of the firm foundation on which we stand.  The New Testament reveals that Jesus Christ is the solid rock on which we are building our lives.

The word redeem is a precious word in the bible.  It means to purchase by the payment of a price.  But our spiritual redemption was not paid for with money.  The apostle Peter declared that silver and gold do not redeem us, but the precious blood of Jesus Christ does.

It should be the desire of your life to please God, to bring Him delight and satisfaction.  You please him outwardly by your words, and inwardly by your thoughts.  Life is a perfect melody when the outward and the inward are in harmony with each other.

YHC confesses he mostly focuses on improving outwardly and forgets about the inwardly.  YHC challenged the PAX to remember the need to please God inwardly with our thoughts even if we are already pleasing God outwardly.

  1. Great breakdown of that verse. Missed you guys. I guess that’s the one downside to growth. You don’t get to see everyone everyday. Growth does put this F3 thing in front of more people which has to be the goal.
