Three loyal PAX of #BearCounty spent some time around the flag and upside down. Here’s how it went down.
The morning began with Space Monkey’s wrong turn into the parking lot (Yes, I did see that). This is despite his regular attendance. Space Monkey is a staple at #BearCounty bringing it every week. Today was no different.

Warm Up: SSH 30IC, IPW 15IC, Abe Vigodas (slow windmills) 10IC, Merkins 10IC
4 minutes of Burbees (10 per minute)
Speed work – Run 1/2 mile your pace (i.e. you vs. you)
Upside down time – Balls to the Wall – 6 sets of 10 count holds, followed by 3 sets (10 reps) of donkey kicks with a hold
Suicides on parking lot spaces (increments of one up to four) – Crawl Bear (out)/Bear Crawl (back), Second set Side Plank Shuffle (out)/Walking Lung (back)
1/2 mile mosey together
Deconstructed burpees (Leg thrusts, merkins, squats): Sets of 10, 9, 8, 6, 4, 2, and 1 full burpess. After each set, hold Al Gore (chair squat) for the 6
Circle Up to end with Captain Thor (Big Boy Situps/American Hammer increasing reps 1 to 7).
With Valentine’s day yesterday, YHC thought it a good idea to discuss our relationships with our Ms (wives). A few takeaways from YHC’s mistakes and great advice from the PAX were to make your relationship a priority, do not make her your everything (setting her up to fail), do not get comfortable with where you are at (keep working on your relationship), and each of you should have friends outside of each other.
