15 PAX were present for YHC’s HOF Q, a heartwarming sight to behold. Lady Glitter Sparkles (LGS) was present per the usual for HOF posts, but whether she was a welcome guest will have to be left to the PAX who had to carry her during the workout. Warmarama (IC): SSH – 30 Through the Tunnel – 15 Arm Circles – 10/10/9 (miscounted, but who is in charge here!?!) Toy Soldiers – 15 The Thang: Indian Run w/LGS around the block. Grab 6 coupons and then mosey to the pond. YHC thought to try something a little different with three…

F3 Hampton Roads has officially turned two years old. The weather was chilly and the sun had yet to rise when the workout kicked off, very similar to our first workout two years ago. Elf on Shelf: Hard to grip a wet coupon but otherwise an alright exercise. Elvis meets Forrest: Interesting idea, but otherwise just a funny way to do lounges. Empty Wheelbarrow: Normal wheel barrow except PAX on the ground walk belly up. Very good possibility I will use this one in the future. Escalator: Not much of a routine, but the first big challenge of the…

This morning at Ironclad was a co-Q with Funny car leading the warmarama and Circle of Trust and Gunner leading the Thang.  Warmarama exercises included side straddle hop, imperial walkers, Abe Vigodas, good mornings, arm circles, merkins, and Bobby Hurley’s.  For The Thang Gunner had the PAX continue the exercises listed on the F3 website. We are currently in the Cs. We did the exercises starting with Cinder Block Slides and ending with Copperhead Squats. Coupons were used for several exercises many of which included some variation of a burpee.  Funny car led the COT which included FNG Rick Perry…

For all of those who are interested and available to go with me, I am planning a trip to Wilmington, NC to assist in hurricane Florence recovery and donate time and goods for the weekend of 10/26-10/28.  Here is the basic plan: Friday 10/26: Load up the trucks and leave Hampton Roads after work (approx. 6pm). Drive to my in-laws’ house in Angier, NC (arrive approx. 9:30pm).  They have plenty of room for anyone that wants to come (they can comfortably house about 15 visitors).  We will spend the night there. Saturday 10/27: Get up early on Saturday morning to…

Two more FNGs (Orbit and 2 Wheel) at Ironclad this morning. Perfect fall weather for a workout. We continue to make our way through the F3 Exercise list (https://f3nation.com/exercises/). YHC was very anxious about how Bridge of Hate was going to go. Overall, it was successful with completion of the exercise and no injuries. In addition, there were several graceful dismounts. Recap of the ground rules: 1. Begin where the previous Q left off. A-Z followed by numbers and special characters. 2. You MUST prepare the Q. Do NOT arrive at the AO, then pull up the website and start.…

To all who shall these presents greetings! It is almost that time again!  Hampton Roads is celebrating another year of giving it away.  Our second anniversary convergence will be held at StinkHill on November 3rd at the normal start time of 0700.  Beat down details are still to follow.  There will also be second F and food (yet another F?) afterwards for those who can make it to which families are welcome.  Specifics are still being ironed out.  Look for another pre-blast in the near future for more information. Save the Date!!!! We are only 30 days out! RVA: You…

High Impact Men of Hampton Roads, It has been entirely too long since my last Big Data Update, but this past month was just too impressive to let the opportunity slip away.  Bottom Line Up Front: although August 2018 was a record month for us, September was even better. First and foremost, we had 9 new FNGs! Welcome KiloVolt, Shakespeare, Taps, Hyzer, Tanker, Oscar, Dr. J, Chief, and Reaper!  Thanks for coming out, and we look forward to continuing to see you in the gloom. We also had a whopping 4 VQs, #SecondBell.  #TClaps to Catapult, Grinder, Doomsday, and Marvel. …
