3 PAX turned into 6 PAX by 5:31 to continue working through the exercise list on this glorious, gloomy morning. Warmarama:  30 SSHs, Pick up in list at DaVinci Cartwheel x 2 The Thang:  Mosey to football field to start Death Star and finish with Deck of Death. DaVinci Cartwheel Begin in a low squat. For all of those who are interested and available to go with me, I am planning a trip to Wilmington, NC to assist in hurricane Florence recovery and donate time and goods for the weekend of 10/26-10/28.  Here is the basic plan: Friday 10/26: Load up the trucks and leave Hampton Roads after work (approx. 6pm). Drive to my in-laws’ house in Angier, NC (arrive approx. 9:30pm).  They have plenty of room for anyone that wants to come (they can comfortably house about 15 visitors).  We will spend the night there. Saturday 10/27: Get up early on Saturday morning to…

5 PAX including one DR FNG, “Slice” (Toledo, OH). We continue to make our way through the F3 Exercise list (https://f3nation.com/exercises/). Recap of the ground rules: 1. Begin where the previous Q left off. A-Z followed by numbers and special characters. 2. You MUST prepare the Q. Do NOT arrive at the AO, then pull up the website and start. If you do this, you will be reading more than Q’ing and may not understand the description. Suggestion would be to print the exercises you plan to get to. PDF on phone worked okay this morning, but paper print out…

To all who shall these presents greetings! It is almost that time again!  Hampton Roads is celebrating another year of giving it away.  Our second anniversary convergence will be held at StinkHill on November 3rd at the normal start time of 0700.  Beat down details are still to follow.  There will also be second F and food (yet another F?) afterwards for those who can make it to which families are welcome.  Specifics are still being ironed out.  Look for another pre-blast in the near future for more information. Save the Date!!!! We are only 30 days out! RVA: You…

High Impact Men of Hampton Roads, It has been entirely too long since my last Big Data Update, but this past month was just too impressive to let the opportunity slip away.  Bottom Line Up Front: although August 2018 was a record month for us, September was even better. First and foremost, we had 9 new FNGs! Welcome KiloVolt, Shakespeare, Taps, Hyzer, Tanker, Oscar, Dr. J, Chief, and Reaper!  Thanks for coming out, and we look forward to continuing to see you in the gloom. We also had a whopping 4 VQs, #SecondBell.  #TClaps to Catapult, Grinder, Doomsday, and Marvel. …

YHC was inspired by SubMac’s Q yesterday when several new exercises were introduced by the official F3 Deck of Death. With the desire to incorporate more excercises, YHC decided to Q through the ENTIRE exercise list on f3nation.com/exercises/. YHC estimates this will take approximately 25 Qs (+/-5). As such, this is too great a task for any one PAX. Per Buoy’s suggestion, YHC is challenging the PAX of F3 Hampton Roads to pick up where YHC left off. The goal of this is to introduce new exercises into our repertoire. As an incentive, this will streamline writing your backblast (unless…

On the seventeenth anniversary of the tragic attack on the World Trade Centers, Pentagon, and American Airlines Flight 93, the PAX at DuckDuckGoose paid tribute to the loss and sacrifice that occurred on that fateful day. The Thang: Warmarama: 25 side straddle hops – In cadence (IC) 10 toy soldiers – IC 15 through the tunnel – IC 20 shoulder circles – IC 2977 people were killed that day. To honor and remember them, each team of three performed 2977 reps. The workout format was Triple Check. One PAX performed rotating exercise, one PAX performed step-ups onto the flower pot,…

YHC has been peering through the pages of the bible for some time now and has aspired to inculcate themes from my reading into workouts I Q when possible. This swampy, muggy morning at Bear Country was no exception. Warmarama: Side straddle hops (in cadence, IC, 15 reps); good mornings (IC, 10 reps); Michael Phelps (IC, 10 reps); air squats (IC, 10 reps); shoulder circles, IC, 10 reps each direction) The Thang: YHC often employs friendly competition into the beatdowns. After mentioning it had been a while, mumble chatter indicated that it had only been a few days.  Nonetheless, the…
