Six ruckers on a mission launched out from Hoedown laden with the spoils the Pax had left. Pigskin was nice enough to see us off and offer his support. The group dispersed in rotating pairs of two for chatting along the way. The lights of UR at night are outstanding with the reflections on the lake. When we arrived at Spider Run, the parking lot was vacant of food, so we picked up the bat cave and trekked into the gloom. One deer sighting, though many more probably spotted us. The holiday lights of the River Road Shopping Center we…

Six PAX met to discuss a variety of leadership topics this time with most conversation around Freed to Lead now that some of the PAX are reading it for the first time. If you have not read this book, its a good time to do so to find out more about the founding philosophy behind our movement. PAX at 2d F included Honeydo, Faceplant, Flatline, Lab Rat, and Ronnie. Alas they missed Currahee but the out of towners did get free beer – all as promised. NMS – Fun was had by all and different libations were on order after the first $8.50 Guinness. A pint of beer should be cheaper than a gallon of petrol. Some PAX started a bit early to catch the first games of the NCAAB round of 64 Including the SpidURS who beat down Iowa. Go SpidURs! We also made a friend from Minneapolis who was quite interested in UNC shellac-ing Marquette,…

What a truly wonderful sunny and 70 degree afternoon we had for Punisher. YHC was excited to have a gang to test a new workout routine to wrap up the Monday for this week. Rolled into the parking lot with alot of text updates of folks not going to post and I see a lone brother in the name of Upchuck stretching and getting ready. 6pm rolls in, it’s just up to us to get going so we decide to do the COP…While running a couple of laps we discuss earlier workouts from the morning (Peloton for CB and and…

Corned Beef, Mr Rogers, Tryhard and Hitchhiker Last Thursday 4 brothers converged with Project Homes and their volunteers to build a Ramp for a Chesterfield Resident in need. Weather was great and we finished before 11:30am. We will have more dates later this spring including a weekend date! Please contact Corned Beef if you are interested and thank you to Mr Rogers, Tryhard and Hitchhiker for your time and effort on this ramp. Have a great week! Cheers….CB

We had our first ramp build with the F3 RVA group and some reinforcements from NewEastern Construction (Ryan Primm, Eduardo Torres and Antonio Mendoza). With the cold temperatures the build started an hour later, but that did not matter as with the motivation and skill of this group we finished the two ramps and packed everything up for the photo shoot by 11:15 am! This ramp was special as it is for a young man (Samar Lemons) who was crippled in a High School football game. The project homes team scheduled this to make sure it was completed prior to…
