30 road warriors coverged and ran towards the dark to welcome the Tax Man. Would they take the Standard Deduction? Or face the threat of Compounding Interest, or suffer the Tax Lien? We took it all on and then some! But according to the guy sky-hooking newspapers on Grove avenue, it went a little something like this: The routes were: The Standard Deduction is a delightful 6.39 mile romp that begins at Mary and takes Groooooooove toward Three Chopt, right on Henri, left onto Towana, left on Roselawn to UR Drive, UR Drive till it ends at River Road, and…

Darkest just before dawn. My memory, that is. 5:30am and everyone is looking at YHC. “My q? Are you sure?” Spontaneity, be my muse. Lord show us the way. The slow mosey is the way. Warmups with 23 SSHs, 10 DQs, stretching and mirkins, 18 LBCs and arm circles. Expect the unexpected. On the 3rd lap of a very vanilla triple check around the loop, with jump squats and WW2s, YHC said “let’s do something we haven’t done before.” DTH rattled off some options including the baseball field – no ones been there in a year. A slow mosey around…

Posted at Swansboro, NC municipal park for a Skid Mark beatdown. Came in hot due to not finding my gloves. Met a great group of mostly respect gentleman (6 respect 1 dbl respect and 1 fortysomething) It was a me and Wilson type of group. Workout consisted of running from parking lot to parking lot performing various exercises. Exercises consisted of Merkins, WWI’s, Monkey humpers, Balls to the wall, donkey kicks, LBC’s, Squats, etc. COT at the end and Skid mark took us out in prayer.

After some back and forth last night over whether Doozy was going to relinquish the Q and hit RAMM or stay on the Southside for TwinTeam YHC took the Q. Ultimately the planned start time was a little early With no plan for the morning, except stay off the wet grass, and 3 hard charging F3 men in tow, we headed off into the gloom. A brief mosey to the JRHS main parking lot for a standard warm up. Stay in the lot to use the light poles for a few things. First touch a pole – partner up for…

4 runner plus 2 ruckers got after it with a little orange moon light on the horizon. Runner got start just after 5:30 with loop around Craney Island to get in around 3.25 to 3.5 Ruckers did their thing early with the 5am start time SPIT ON THAT!!

A guy in the neighborhood grabbed the dog and a headlamp and went for a run to see/smell a White Deer, but instead witnessed: COP: SSHs, IWs, DQs, Merkins, Freddie Mercuries IC With a 6 PAX, the perfect number, a series of Triple Checks were executed to maximize the mumble chatter. Instead of teams of three, PAX split into pairs and completed exercises in pairs, re-shuffling pairs each time. Mosey to the courtyard for: Weighted Left Leg Step Ups, Weighted Right Leg Step Ups, Hallelujah Carry around the tree. The Q was wiped out after this and called for a…

11 men gathered for the unknown. Slaughter Start with 14 Burpees set the pace for what was coming. YHC cant remember all the things we did, it was a hodge podge or partner work, triple checks, etc with a 10 Burpee timer going off every 5 minutes. Announcements – Bone Thugs Tax Day run tomorrow at RAAM. Currahee is cancelled. Also, congrats to Bone Thugs on the new job. Prayer Requests – Tryhard’s sister and family as well as Lab Rat as they go through Cancer treatments. NMS – we lost my maternal Grandmother this week, she was 94 years…

Cafe au lait and a Beignet From Cafe du Monde YHC is getting back into the swing with F3RVA after a weeks Spring break of eating great food and visiting with family and friends in Jackson, MS and New Orleans! Second workout of the day so we had some good strength workout in the books for this workout. Here is what went down: COP Mosey to front yard of school and circle up for 20 SSH, 10 DQ’s…(tried to keep these slow as YHC was still alittle sore from the 1/2 Marathon on Saturday!), 10 Ukrainian Soldiers, 10 Imperial Walkers,…

5 Davillians including a FNG got in their first post Half Marathon run on Tuesday. Marco Polo went out on his own route for a little 10k training route prep for Sunday For the rest of the PAX, plan was to take it easy and run two laps around the school for a 3.5 mile run. Well the loops were completed but not at a slow pace. Our FNG Speakeasy (Craig) kept the pace moving. YHC arrived surprised to see our FNC today. Speakeasy and YHC first meet back in our college years 15+ years ago. His girlfriend (now wife)…
